Bethel Bible Camp
The volunteer staff who have served at Bethel Bible Camp have been “proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour” to everyone who has visited the camp since it began in 1945.
The camp was founded on the belief that God’s Son, Jesus Christ, lovingly offered himself as a sacrifice on Calvary’s cross and provided redemption for everyone. Those who choose to accept Him as their personal Saviour will know their sins are forgiven, will enjoy His presence in their lives and will look forward to eternity with their Saviour in Heaven. That message, taught in the wonderful, outdoor setting of God’s creation at Bethel Bible Camp, adjacent to the Pembina River, just minutes from Westlock, Alberta, is the main purpose of Bethel Bible Camp.
Campers who attend Bethel Bible Camp often cite ‘the people’ as one of the reasons they like this camp so much. Bethel’s Board of Directors utilizes a comprehensive selection process to choose the volunteer staff who carry out a varied program of recreational and cultural activities, praise and worship, scripture memorization, and leadership development.
There is no charge for campers to attend Bethel Bible Camp. The camp is a faith-based ministry relying on God’s gracious provision to supply all needs, both financial and human resources, thereby allowing all potential campers the opportunity to benefit by attending Bethel Bible Camp. God has never failed in His promise to supply all the needs for His work at Bethel Bible Camp Please join in giving Him thanks for the many blessings He has provided.
I absolutely loved this camp when I attended in 2013-2015 summers! I look forward to nothing more but camp, always felt welcome and accepted. Wish I could relive those days, I definitely miss all the shenanigans that went on throughout the week!!
